Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.Follow this link to learn more about Robert Frost and to read his poetry.One golden nugget for me is my family’s land in West Virginia…however nature is being tarnished by coal mines.We must find a clean, cheap, renewable source of energy before we are striped of all our gold.
